For years, I looked for my path in the fast-paced noise of the corporate world, while searching my peace. ‘Identity’ is the exact moment the search stopped, my true awakening began, I committed to my destiny as a visual artist. This piece taught me I am already complete exactly as I am - with all my roots, my heritage, my cracks, my resilience, and my softness.
This is a sacred reminder of what happens when we finally stop looking outward, accept our healing, and learn to wear our story like a crown.

This 15×15” original painting holds a sacred place in my journey. It was painted directly upon a legacy gallery wooden panel gifted to me by the family of a late, respected landscape artist from North Vancouver, who passed the torch and wished the absolute best for my emerging art path. Because this historic surface holds my very first physical brushstrokes and the awakening of my ancestral heritage, it remains permanently inside my private collection as a personal anchor.
